B&B Villa Sensi

Mooie villa in een rustige omgeving met een geweldig uitzicht

Alles was perfect

Paolo, the owner is great, he took time explaining area and he seems like a nice person. He likes to be in controle and likes to be informed on what’s going on and not have too many surprises. The views from the B&B are amazing. Really great. The place has a nice pool. And the surroundings are very quiet. Breakfast is okay. Lunch is good. Good place to park a car.

The place really needs a touch up. It’s a little run down and musty. Smell of cigarettes inside the common area. It’s quite noisy as well so you have to be lucky with the other guest not coming home very late or get up very early etc. You really need a car if you’re staying here. The lady who works there is not friendly at all. No good morning, hello, she’s on the phone amongst the guest talking loudly, arguing with Paulo. She doesn’t seem the right fit for hospitality. The rooms aren’t cleaned. They say because of environmental reasons but then give water in plastic bottles instead of (refillable) glass or even giving a choice on that matter. It’s not nice you need to ask for toilet paper after three days or a clean towel after you’ve used it at the pool. Just check each room every day, don’t have to do a lot but it the bin is full, the toilet paper is finished or the towels need to be changed that doesn’t seem strange. Make sure you have a room with a balcony cause other wise you’re stuck in a room with only one window high up that you can’t look out of.

The first time we stayed at Villa Sensi was in 2013 and we have been back numerous times since. It's a great place in the middle of a nature reserve with a fantastic view across Lago Trasimeno. The rooms are spacious and each one facing the lake has its own balcony. The swimming pool is very nice and you can relax after your daily tours. Paolo is a great host looking after his guests, always friendly and helpful with a lot tips for excursions in the area and restaurants. This time we stayed with friends who loved the place like us. Not to forget the breakfast which was excellent! We will come back next year. Thx Paolo for a great time!!

La struttura è molto confortevole, con una bella vista sul lago e colline circostanti. La camera è buona e il proprietario è molto simpatico e disponibile a spiegare tutto ciò che c'è da vedere nei dintorni. Piscina ottima. Ottimo posto in cui soggiornare per vedere tutta la zona.

The smell of smoke and food was not great and the bed was extremely hard - not relaxing at all

Locatie in het midden van een natuurgebied met prachtig zicht op het meer van Trasimeno. De eigenaar, Paolo, heeft ons ontvangen. Heel charmante man. Heeft de tijd genomen om ons uit te leggen waar de mooiste plaatsen zich bevonden rond het meer, hoe we ons het best konden verplaatsen naar Firenze en Siena, waar de betere restaurants waren.

Hebben twee keer 's avonds gebruik gemaakt van de infrastructuur van de B&B, borden, vorken etc. Paolo was hier niet echt tevreden mee en zei ons letterlijk dat we hier niet thuis waren. In de hospitality sector moet een uitbater van een B&B juist wel het gevoel geven dat de mensen er thuis zijn uiteraard met respect voor zijn infrastructuur en materiaal.
