Sean maintains a stunning home in the most delightful location in Wicklow. The rooms are very spacious, and the beds very comfortable. Felt right at home.

Beautiful estate, very quiet, host suggested we visit the woven mill and it was a fantastic time

No cell phone service except through the estate WiFi

The house is beautiful, the setting is marvellous, the host is very friendly and can recommend things to do in the area. We had a walk around in the garden and a (very cold) dip in the small river nearby. We opted to join the 3-course dinner, which was delicious, reasonably priced, and gave us a chance to meet the other guests and have an enjoyable evening together. The bed is comfy, the breakfast was lovely as well, with scrambled eggs and yoghurt. The conservatory is a lovely place to read a book or have coffee. There is plenty to do in the area. The absolute bonus for us was how welcome our dog was. It is not always easy to find a nice location to stay or a place to eat where you are allowed to bring a pet, but this is no problem at all at Ballyteige lodge. Our dog, a little old lady, was greeted with enthusiasm and we felt comfortable having her with us throughout our stay, for which we are very grateful.

Wonderful welcome by Sean and Patricia who turned this place into a unforgettable experience ! Lodge is vibrating with history and surrounding (gardens & forest)is breath taking and magic !

It sat in the middle of the wicklow mountains with some of the lovely scenery in Ireland but the facilities need updating to it a perfect place to stay sorry to say these things but because the person who owes is a fantastic person
