Pension Behnisch

Everything was perfect: the room was cosy and clean, the breakfast huge and delicious, but first of all I was impressed with the host’s hospitality and friendliness. It all made us feel like at home there.

Very cozy and comfortable and welcoming.

The bed was too small and you were drawn to the middle. New bed, bigger bed and better matras is needed. It felt a bit like you were in a historical drama. Historical view, which was nice, old building, pink rooms which looked cosy but drama in the sense that I noticed every hour on the clock and went away with back pain.

Bed was awful and too small for two people. Price was much too high for such bad value.

We are cycling the Elberadweg and turned up at Pension Behnisch wet through and cold to the core on a wet windy day. Use had already put the heater on in our room. It’s the little things… The room overlooked the square and was full of character. Great breakfast in the morning. So very welcoming

Loved staying in a 300 year old house.

Very clean and spacious. Great breakfast. We loved staying in the old building. Good bicycle store. The hosts are the main attraction. They were very kind and interesting. They recommended a good restaurant.

We arrived a bit later then promised (by bike) but that was not a problem (after 18.00). The owner was very friendly and showed and explained us everything needed. The room was quite big, nice and clean. We got towels as well. The bathroom was shared with other one or two rooms but we didnt see it as a problem. Again, everything was super clean (even if kind of old style). Although we didnt have breakfast included, there was a possibility to buy something at their bakery. During our trip along the river this was the best overnight stay due to warm and friendly welcome of the owners.

Pas attention to stairs in the house. The owner told us several times but still once I forgot...
