"Amazingly wonderful slice of paradise."

Breakfast was plentiful and there was something for every taste. Views were stunning and the peace and tranquility was palpable. Staff were super polite and accommodated our every need.

Literally can not fault this place. We've stayed here before, and everything is always on point. The pool is to die for (and never too busy) and the staff, and owner of the chateau (who is always wonderfully attentive to the guests) are all absolutely lovely. Breakfast is absolutely stunning too. It all felt like we were in a Poirot movie! Highly recommended 👌

"A beautiful place but poor business practices and a stinky room"

Very nice location, beautiful building. Well kept grounds, walking distance from the beach (le Racou) and the trailheads to the mountains. Breakfast is good. The nearby restaurant is exceptional. The local wine from the attached winery is not bad at all.

We were charged for 5 nights when we only stayed 4. Neither the property nor booking.com acknowledge the mistake despite multiple requests. We stayed one week after they had a fire nearby that knocked down electricity and internet in the area. As a result, we had no internet for half our stay and our room smelled really bad for 3 nights from a failure in the sewer system. The mostly absent staff did not help, arguing "we are no plumbers". It took a chance encounter with the owner in the elevator to get it fixed almost immediately. The pool was very cold.

"Bountiful and beautiful"

We scheduled the chateau for our last two nights in France at end of October. We were the last guests for the year. I was extremely pleased at how well were pampered. The owner gave us the nicest room and provided a personal tour of the chateau. The views are gorgeous. The restaurant was closed for the season, but the breakfast choices were remarkable. We were extremely grateful for the care provided.
