The Victoria

The Victoria was lovely and clean and you had all you needed. The breakfast was exceptional and it was lovely to have fresh coffee grounds in your room ready for when you needed. It was a fantastic stay!

We loved everything. The location was brilliant, room immaculate and breakfast was great. Also, for dinner we highly recommend the Georgian House across the road (sister hotel to the Victoria) it does get busy so best to book.

There was nothing not to like.

Huge breakfast choice, consisting mainly of local produce. Friendly & efficient and helpful staff.

No significant issues whatsoever.

The location is very convenient for walking to the restaurants, and you can hire an electric Bike next door.

Room was very clean and well presented. Location was ideal for my needs. The staff were very friendly and amenable. The breakfast was beautifully presented. The fact that the bar was in the sister hotel across the road meant that it was peaceful and quiet here.

The free Wii-fi was hopeless and I could not connect to do my work. A desk or writing table in the room would have been useful.

Their breakfast menu was amazing. The whole ambiance was amazing. Staff were exceptional.
