Continental breakfast was good. Accommodation was spotlessly clean, comfortable and welcoming.

Alderdale was excellent, instructions for parking and accessing the property were super easy, the location is absolutely perfect, the information provided before hand was great, the host went above and beyond to make sure we had a good stay. The finer details were amazing which made our stay here very special. we loved the breakfast and pretty much everything about it - especially the highland coos out the front door

Very clean and in an excellent location , very quiet at night , good size shower and good breakfast provided although we didn't really have time to eat anything. Host was very nice and allowed us early entry.

Bed a bit too small, or may we are just a bit big! Couldn't find anywhere to plug my phone in to charge other than the hallway outside the room.

Alderdale B&B in the picturesque village Luss, is the perfect stop between the Lake district and the Highlands. We checked ourselves in after receiving simple directions from our host, Annelise. We loved the bed, the bathroom and the excellent breakfast we found in the fridge: fruit, yoghurt, cereals and bread and croissants, waffles etc. Perfect for the one night we stayed. We even took some with us to have with tea on our way. Luss is a very beautiful little town. Had dinner at the Loch Lomond arms hotel which was lovely. I had the linguine and my husband the fish and chips.

Das Frühstück war super und die “Küchenecke” sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Lage in dem kleinen Ort auch wunderbar.

Das Bett ist zu zweit eher klein und es gab nicht so viele Steckdosen.

We booked the entire cabin, and the rooms were extremely clean and well organized. The attention to detail was truly noticeable. Check-in was very easy and smooth, and the welcome breakfast basket was lovely and nicely varied.

The only minor downside, which the owner may not be aware of, is that the external door does not lock properly with the key, so it would open during windy and rainy weather.
