Lindisfarne Bed & Breakfast

Everything was delightful. The room was beautiful and clean and the bed so comfortable. Hosts were lovely and breakfast was tasty. Thanks heaps guys we loved it.

great location - and great breakfast

The location was convenient to the sites. The host was very friendly. Breakfast was good. It was quiet and there was a good view. The bed was comfortable, and we were happy that the window had a sliding shade that kept the light out. The location is a bit north of Stromness, not right down in the main town. We knew this, so it was fine, but just wanted to point it out in case others were not aware.

On the first night, the water in the shower was either scalding or freezing, but I think perhaps nobody had been in that room for a few nights because it settled in and was fine after that. I think if we'd let the water run for a while first, then it would have been ok. We were on the top floor and the lamps hanging from the ceiling were low enough that my husband had to watch his head (he is 6'2"). The mirror on the wall was not at a height for a tall person. I had to squat or kneel in order to look in the mirror while I straightened my hair.

The place was lovely, well situated close to town and the service was exemplary. Deborah and Kevin did a first rate job looking after and feeding us and helping us on things to see and do

We loved this place. Comfortable and cosy with a great view. Our host was so nice and the breakfast was exceptional. Highly recommend.

Wir haben 2 Nächte dort verbracht und es war super. Die Unterkunft ist nur ein paar Minuten vom Hafen in Stromness entfernt, die Zimmer sind wirklich komfortabel eingerichtet und man fühlt sich super wohl. Die Frühstücksauswahl war sehr reichlich und es wurde alles frisch zubereitet.
