The house is very clean and Chantal makes a fantastic breakfast. She tries to be a pleasant host for guests.

Not recommended for solo travelers and too expensive for what you get. The garden does not look like the photos. It’s is just dirt and not nice to sit. I did not feel safe walking into town and back in the evening. It’s located in the back streets of an area which is very quiet and all the shutters are down. There were a few times I had to cross the road with the homeless or groups of teenage boys walking by and no one else to be seen. Although I arrived at 4pm we seemed to catch the host by surprise. She was very rude to my friends who were dropping me off. Although I explained I didn’t speak French (I have a translate app) she continued to speak at me in French all the time which was just awkward. My friends paid half the price and got a great place near the river with a kitchen and washing machine.

Petits compléments par rapport aux autres commentaires que j’ai pu lire : - pas de parking privé mais nous n’avons eu aucun difficulté pour nous garer gratuitement durant les 4 jours passés ici - c’est une maison d’hôte, on est chez quelqu’un qui reçoit chez lui et peut faire preuve de souplesse dans des cas exceptionnels, c’est une expérience qui peut être différente de celle proposée par des services hôteliers et leurs employés.

très bien situé. visite à pied de Blois depuis la maison. Par chance, la propriétaire nous a averti quand une place devant chez elle s'est libérée, sinon parking pas loin. Propriétaire très sympa, un très bon petit déjeuner belle maison, très agéable

Een hele spontane gastvrouw. De locatie was perfect voor een bezoek aan Blois. Alles op loopafstand. Een heerlijk ontbijt met diverse soorten brood, vleeswaren, kaas, verse jus en fruit. Wij konden voor de deur parkeren maar anders is er in de buurt voldoende gelegenheid. Wij hadden een zeer ruime kamer die voldeed aan de verwachtingen.

Rooms were comfortable and clean. Central location.

Strange owner who asked us to lock the front door even when we were inside the property and was very strict about the breakfast and check-out times (which are on the early side). No iron on the property.
