Fern Villa B&B

Location was perfect for walking the coastal path and visiting Fishguard. We had a lovely view from our room over the harbour and it was great that two easy chairs were available. Sue & Mike were very welcoming and the accommodation was clean and comfortable.

We spent an excellent several days in North Pembrokeshire. The B&B was perfectly located for exploring one way towards Cardigan and the other way towards St. David's/Solva. It was very quiet where we were, too, but close to Fishguard to get in and out easily. We also enjoyed walking down to and around the marina Goodwick/Fishguard. Sue & Mike were great hosts and the B&B was ideal for us. We would happily stay here again.

Extremely clean, comfortable and very welcoming. Able to borrow a walking book. Hosts couldn’t have been more helpful. Perfect breakfast portion, set us up for the day. And homemade marmalade was delicious!

Ein Ort zum Ankommen und Wohlfühlen. Wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt! Die Villa bietet eine geschmackvolle Einrichtung und eine angenehme Atmosphäre, die den Aufenthalt besonders entspannt macht. Vom unkomplizierten Check-in bis hin zu kleinen individuellen Gesten alles war darauf ausgelegt, dass man sich willkommen fühlt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die ruhige Lage, kombiniert mit der stilvollen und durchdachten Ausstattung. Alles war sauber, gemütlich und mit Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Ideal für alle, die einen Rückzugsort mit Komfort suchen ob für ein Wochenende oder einen längeren Aufenthalt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Sue and Mike were very welcoming and friendly, they were there to welcome us into the B&B and show us to our room, along with providing us with lots of ideas on where to go and where to eat etc. The B&B itself was a lovely building, pretty garden and ample parking right outside. It was clean and comfortable, most of what you'd expect from a B&B was there. Dining area was nice with a lovely view, as was the view from the bedroom.

I felt the beds being made by hosts each day unnecessary, especially for short stay guests (more work for hosts/guests can arrange bedding to their preference). There were no little touches such as mini shower gel/shampoos for 2 people or biscuits with the tea/coffee provided (personal preference, but expected as it's the norm for majority of B&Bs). Breakfast was a little disappointing, especially for the price of the stay. Perhaps a complimentary continental option would be a nice touch as well as more flexibility on the time breakfast is served. Portion sizes and quality of the breakfast did not meet expectations, again especially given the cost of the stay.
