The Warren Belfast

Good location, tastefully decorated room.

The Warren is not staffed. We received no confirmation of the room booking, we got in through the front as another guest was leaving and had to call to get the key box code for the room. They said they would send all check in info through via text, but sent nothing. I messaged on booking.com asking again for this after an hour. I received no reply. After our evening out we had to call the number again as we had no way in through the front door without the code. The parking was requested and paid for in advance, we were charged £8, and told to provide our car details at check in... There was no check in, feels like this was an additional charge that others weren't paying as there was no one to check. The room was basic, had few plug sockets and you could hear people in the hall as they came and went.

The curtain was broken, but we called the staff, and they fixed it very quickly. Also the room style was lovely.

Just before checking out, I pulled back the bedding at the foot of the bed to check for left items for the very first time—which had been tightly tucked into the mattress. Underneath, I discovered a dirty mark on the sheet. Because the blanket was still firmly tucked in from the hotel's initial makeup, it leaves no doubt that the room was not properly cleaned and that we were given used sheets.

Breakfast is fine. We enjoyed the range of food provided, especially the fresh fruit. We had great chat with other guests. All in all, a very good start to the day.

Maybe a croissant?

Decent location, close to centre. Onsite parking.

Small room, additional fee for parking, clothes from previous guest left in bathroom, sound from street and train closeby causes disruption. Overpriced, all things considered.

Breakfast was basic but satisfactory Location was excellent

The bathroom was a wet room and by the end of a shower it was more like a flood! The water took ages to drain away. The storage facilities for hanging clothes etc was poor and the drawers were all broken. There were also not enough plugs for places to charge devices. We were only staying one night but glad that was the case, I wouldn’t have wanted to stay any longer.
