Lovey comfortable stay. Claire and Chris were great hosts. The Cottage is ideally located for exploring the area and walking the SWCP.

The breakfast was excellent, fabulous selection of everything and attention to detail by staff was perfect in every way. The location of the B&B was perfect to access restaurants etc ideal and the car could stay parked.

"Oh, The Cottage! How charming!"

This was my second visit to Porlock and The Cottage. I was there in 2023 and would visit again! The location on Hight St was convenient and the historic property is charming. I enjoyed my walks around the village and down to Porlock Weir for meals and drinks at the other inns. Chris and Clare are wonderful hosts and the breakfast at The Cottage is excellent.

My room overlooked the car park and garage in back, so while the view wasn't stellar, being on the quiet side made for a good night's sleep. The carpet could have used a cleaning.
