"Quite the most delightful long weekend in a B&B that I’ve ever experienced"

I love that it was a sympathetic and beautiful restoration of an 11C house with outstanding views. Extremely comfortable bedrooms with ensuite facilities. Very tastefully decorated. A perfect little dining area where we had our sumptuous breakfast overlooking the river Severn. What made the stay really exceptional was that the guest rooms are in a separate wing with a beautiful lounge that the guests have unlimited access to.

"Relaxing, luxurious and fun"

Everything about this property spoke luxury. It was one of the best stays in England I’ve had as the service, room, location and breakfast were exceptional. Robin and his wife Louise were fantastic hosts and it was lovely waking up each morning with a delicious breakfast looking at the views of their garden and woodland. If you want a relaxing few days this is the place to go. You do need a car as Shrewsbury is a 20 minute drive.

Nothing to report, struggling to find a flaw.

It was “luxury with a view”. Welcome was perfect. Tea and cake. Both Robin and Louise first class hosts whilst being very modest and understated. Breakfasts were amazing. Great knowledge of the area and nothing too much trouble. The grounds were stunning and very relaxing position.

Couldn’t pick any faults.

"Sitting in the garden looking at the view, listening to birdsong was a joy!"

Beautiful house, great setting, with glorious gardens, walks and views. Easy access to drive to Ironbridge, Shrewsbury and Ludlow. Robin and Louise are great friendly hosts, so helpful and informative. Lovely breakfasts, each morning cooked to order with delicious, fresh, locally sourced food. Felt very lucky so have found such a gem of a place to stay for a lovely long weekend! Thank you both so much for making it so special.

We would highly recommend the 'Old Hall', Cressage in every way. Robin and Louise are delightful, kind and knowledgable hosts who have troubled to decorate the Hall beautifully and no detail or requirement for a relaxing, comfortable and luxurious stay has been overlooked. Beautiful views from the rooms and the breakfast room. Delicious breakfast too! Hope to return.

They are no negatives. All comforts and needs well taken care of.
