"A beautiful Georgian house in a charming small town"

The property is right in the centre of Montgomery, a small town with a Georgian ambience. Although there is no dedicated parking, we never had a problem finding on-street spaces. Staying in Old Stores felt more like staying in a friend's house - a friend, moreover, with excellent taste in antique furniture and interesting books. Our hostess could not have been more friendly and attentive. Her breakfast options and presentation were exceptionally good.

There was nothing about our stay one could possibly find fault with.

Spotlessly clean, friendly, personal service.

Not accessible for some elderly or disabled people due to lots of steps outside and stairs inside. Not possible to change the building.

"Wonderful!"

The building was beautiful, being a bank holiday it was a little quieter but if anything that added to the quaintness of the place. It was easy to get to and plenty of parking opposite. Ruth was lovely and made us feel very welcome. Ironically we don't usually sleep very well when away, but the bed was so comfy we had no trouble sleeping! The bedroom and bathroom were amazing with everything needed provided, as was the breakfast! We would definitely stay here again.

Not a criticism by any means, just a suggestion of a bell by the flowers in the hall for newly arrived guests to make their presence known.
