Nice room as shown, very comfy bed. Parking in front of house off-street. Breakfast choice of cereals & warm pastries.

Breakfast was brought to my room - nice in some ways but weird in others. No communal space for breakfast as is owners home. Bathroom for sole use was next door, so have to go out onto landing- not as ideal as en-suite. Couldn't get shower to work so used bath. Only realised later that switch was outside- this could have been pointed out at welcome.

Ian was a lovely host, everything was great, with a wonderful breakfast. The area was very quiet and the shower was hot and strong. The toilet was up off the ground. Which I loved because I am tall and sometimes have difficulty sitting down on the toilet and then getting up again, but this one was brilliant. Towels were a good size and fluffy.

The only thing that could be attended to was that the toilet seat was a little loose so I had to be careful not to move it.

Our room had everything we needed, it was clean and comfortable. Our private bathroom was also clean with a good shower. Breakfast was great with yoghurt, cereals, croissant and pastry and tea / coffee, which we ate in our room. Our host was very accommodating and happily offered to put our bikes in a locked shed.

This stay was great for us. If you're looking for a b and b which is like a hotel, this might not suit you.
