Woodview Bed & Breakfast

We were blown away by the value for money offered by Patrick and Tracey at Woodview Bed & Breakfast. The setting of the mountains is both peaceful and secluded but also close by to Kilkeel, Rostrevor and Newcastle. Our hosts could not have been more welcoming and numerous times went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed including dinner reservations at a nearby hotel (which was amazing) and their complementary shuttle bus service there and back! We enjoyed a couple of drinks before dinner in their upstairs viewing spot looking out over the County Down countryside. Other highlights include (although we could not fault a single thing...) lovely comfortable bed and bedding... excellent bathroom and water pressure... 11 out of 10 breakfast offerings... and just a general feeling of welcome and ease from two hosts who are obviously passionate about what they do. Can't recommend highly enough.

Pas grand chose, un peu excentré du front de mer mais pour les amateurs de la montagne "Mournes" très bien situé

Location and stunning views, excellent hosting from Tracey and Paddy, fantastic breakfast and the house is beautiful.

This is a very special place! Beautiful setting, wonderful hosts, and a large room with beautiful bathroom, lounge with fantastic view, and a breakfast that lacked nothing. Highly recommended.

Comfort, privacy despite being a B&B, communication with owners and them getting the extra mile to accommodate our late arrival and dietary requirements despite I forgot to mention them earlier. Lovely and tranquil place, highly recommend.

Tracey was a súper host, she was so nice and helpful to us and the room was just perfect, very comfortable bed and all you need!

Best breakfast we have enjoyed in many years of travel. The Hosts were exceptional as such. We had to meet people outside the property but had we had the time to look around further I am sure we would have been delighted with the lounge and garden area.

As it made no noise we incorrectly assumed the shower extraction fan was not working- probably merits mention by the hosts. The Wifi connection did not work-for us.

The surrounding county side was beautiful, the house is just immaculate and every detail well thought out . It’s the nicest place I have ever stayed at . Fab breakfast . the hosts were so helpful and generous with their time .

Just that we had to leave !
