Very friendly and welcoming hosts. The pub immediately felt like a home from home. The chalet was well equipped and very comfortable. We slept well, ate well, and were entertained. Will definitely be back.

Had to cover the emergency light above the chalet door - a very bright light and we thought we could remember where the exit was!

The shallet was lovely with very comfortable, clean beds. Staff were lovely and I enjoyed waking up and going and looking at the field with cows. Reasonably priced and will definitely be staying again when visiting Suffolk. Thank you!!

"A cosy and well-equipped cabin in a peaceful spot, perfect for a comfortable and relaxing stay."

8.0

We had a fantastic stay in the cabin behind the pub - the location was spot on, striking the perfect balance between privacy and convenience. Nestled just a few steps from the beautifully maintained pub garden, the cabin felt wonderfully cosy and secluded, adding real charm to the experience. The pub itself is a freehouse, offering an impressive and carefully selected range of beers, all personally chosen by the owner, Tom. His passion for great beer really shines through and adds a unique touch to the visit. Tom was an excellent host - warm, welcoming, and full of character. The food served in the pub was delicious, and the Saturday night rock and roll quiz was a real standout, bringing great energy and fun to the evening. The cabin was clean, well designed, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable short stay. We’d happily return!

One small issue we encountered was the heat in the mornings. With direct sunlight and it being one of the hottest weekends of the year, the room warmed up quite quickly. A fan would have been a welcome addition to help with airflow and keep things cooler.
