I stayed here with my dad for a trip to RSPB Minsmere. Not only was the location excellent for visiting there, but it was a lovely place to stay in general! The breakfast basket for the first morning was much appreciated. It was a welcome surprise as we only brought protein bars with us to live off of! Parking was never a problem (something my dad always worries about!) The cabin was cosy but spacious with all the necessary bits and bobs. The shower was decent (plenty powerful + no issues with hot water.) The gardens were lovely, and it was nice to sit outside with a coffee in the morning. The pub itself had a wonderful atmosphere with friendly staff. Great selection of drinks! The rhubarb cider was especially tasty :D We wouldn't normally spend so much on food, but thought we would treat ourselves to dinner at the pub for a couple of nights, and all of the food was delicious, espeically the red velvet bread & butter pudding, which was absolutely to die for! Overall, it was a brief but brilliant stay, and we'd definitely stay again if we were in the area.

There wasn't anything we didn't like! Everything was fantastic :D If we were being super picky, the WiFi in the cabin was a bit sketchy compared to in the pub where it seemed to work without issues, but it really wasn't a big deal!

Breakfast was only for first night and was a 'packed breakfast'; WIFI in chalets was almost unusable and meant I could not work in the evenings

The location is amazing, the pub was warming and welcoming. The staff were fabulous! The chalet was clean, the facilities were great. The beds were really comfortable and was what we needed after our long walk. The room is quiet and cosy. It’s the perfect stay. There was a BBQ night when we arrived so the garden was full of laughter. But the chalets are far enough away you don’t hear much from the garden. So you can choose to sit in the garden and have a pint or cosy up in the room.

Lovely cosy cabin, had everything you needed, nice private area of the garden and great customer service. Loved the breakfast basket and food at the pub was very tasty. Overall great value for money.

Only minor things; the bed was a little uncomfortable and the green exit sign was quite bright at night. The toilet was clean, but could have done with a bleach. Wouldn't put me off staying again though.

Lovely cosy cabin, with good shower and the basics for preparing a snack. Breakfast basket was yummy!

Nothing bad to report

The cabins are great, roomy and spotlessly clean. Strong WIFI, nice picnic breakfast. Even a wonderful cat to greet you, although he’s very shy.

There’s nothing not to like about the Lion.
