The Stables B&B

Charming and cosy, very quiet despite its location nearby a larger road. Convenient if on your way fro/to the international airport. Beds were comfy and there was good choice at breakfast.

We booked this accommodation at the last minute since our original accommodation cancelled shortly before our trip, so we were out of options.

In general the place had a rather dated feel. While all necessary amenities worked well, and it was clean, the ares especially around the cottages is in need of an uplift. We had 2 reservations, for a 'cottage' and a room in the B&B. The so called cottage especially was nothing more than a tiny kitchen, dining room, bedroom and bathroom all squashed into a tiny space, it was definitely overpriced for what we got. The room in the B&B was better overall. When we arrived we were welcomed quite rudely as we had arrived earlier than agreed. Then upon moving into the 'cottage' we discovered that the washing machine was full of fetid water which must have been left there by preceding guests, but evidently it had not been checked by the host.
