Aurora Bed & Breakfast

Jane & Richard were lovely hosts. They provided tea with home made fruit loaf & shortbread on arrival, a welcome treat. They also kindly cooked us an early breakfast, as we were catching a ferry.

A TV in the bedroom would be an option for those that want it (we didn’t)

Jane und Richard sind unfassbar nette Leute, bei denen man sich von der ersten Sekunde an wie Zuhause fühlt. Die Zimmer waren sehr groß, sauber und top eingerichtet. Viele kleine, liebevolle Details runden das Zimmer und das Haus ab. Das Frühstück, bei welchem man aus vielen Gerichten auswählen konnte, lässt keine Wünsche übrig. Das größte Kompliment: Unser Hund hat sich nach kurzer Zeit wie Zuhause gefühlt! :) Das einzig "negative" war, dass wir leider nur eine Nacht geblieben sind. Ich kann das B&B nur empfehlen, da hier Gastfreundschaft gelebt wird!

Jane & Richard were very welcoming offering us tea/coffee and some lovely home baking. Our room was very comfortable, Jane had thought of everything you might need.The property is in a lovely location not far from Thurso.

Absolutely wonderful stay from start to finish. As soon as we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome. After a quick tour, we were offered tea and cakes, which was such a lovely touch. The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully presented, with plenty of thoughtful details that made it feel extra special. The hosts were warm, friendly, and couldn’t do enough to help throughout our visit. Breakfast was outstanding — delicious, freshly prepared, and with plenty of choice. The location was perfect and made for a relaxing overnight stay before heading back to Inverness. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone looking for a friendly, comfortable, and memorable stay. We’ll definitely be returning!

That we only stayed one night

Fantastic hosts made us feel very welcome. Very comfortable room and a fab breakfast - what more could you ask for!

Deze B&B en vooral de eigenaren valt onder één van de beste B&B's waar ik ooit heb geslapen. En ik reis veel ! We kwamen aan met een afhaalmaaltijd omdat we moe waren. Kregen gelijk alles wat we nodig hadden om dit op te eten, in de eetzaal. Plus nog 2 heerlijke koekjes. Verder kregen we de grootste kamer, met bad ! Ook heerlijk na een week reizen. Het ontbijt was heerlijk. Kortom een super aanrader ! Niet verder kijken. Gewoon hier boeken.

Lovely spacious room, great shower, very clean. Served a lovely breakfast with great choice in a lovely dining room with lovely views. Option to use the conservatory on an evening. Lovely friendly hosts Richard and Jane who were very knowledgeable about the local area.

There was nothing we didn’t like

From the minute we walked through the door we relaxed. Richard and Jane were wonderful hosts. A pot of tea and some homemade treats to settle us in. We had the best nights sleep and a beautiful breakfast cooked with love.
