The Barn Bed and Breakfast

What we particularly loved was the peaceful rural location combined with excellent connections to Liverpool city centre. It was the perfect balance between relaxing in the countryside and enjoying everything the city has to offer. The rooms were beautifully decorated in keeping with the rural character of the property. Unlike many B&Bs or hotels that are designed purely with practicality in mind, the furnishings and décor contributed greatly to the warm and welcoming atmosphere, enhancing the overall experience. Breakfast provisions were thoughtfully provided in the room, including fresh fruit, fresh milk, cereal, and yoghurt. The room also had a fridge, which made it easy to store any additional food and drinks we purchased ourselves. We particularly appreciated having a microwave and a kettle for making tea, along with a regular supply of tea bags and complimentary instant coffee. There are several lovely restaurants and convenient shopping facilities nearby. Another highlight of our stay was the alpacas in the barn, which were the first thing we saw when stepping outside in the morning. They added even more charm to the wonderful countryside atmosphere. Above all, the friendly and welcoming hosts made us feel at home and contributed greatly to a wonderful stay. We would happily return and highly recommend this accommodation.

There was honestly nothing we disliked about our stay. Everything met or exceeded our expectations, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

Lovely little gem of a place, central location, clean comfortable and cosy rooms, friendly hosts, and i felt very safe travelling alone.

A little oasis of calm. Such a lovely location, beautiful homely room and gardens. Great facilities in the room- hairdryer, kettle, microwave, little fridge. Continental breakfast was as described and loved the cafetiere and filter coffee provided. ( there was instant too) We had lovely weather so could sit out and eat our breakfast on the decking. Perfect friendly hosts who were happy to answer any questions and ensure you enjoyed your stay.

I can't fault the place

Loved being met by Gary and shown around. He went out of his way to phone a nearby eating establishment for us and make a dinner reservation on our behalf. He suggested good walks. The Continental Breakfast was lovely and the attention to detail, e.g. filter coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and other nibbles, water and juice, super.
