The Barn Bed and Breakfast

The property was well maintained, and the service was excellent. We were welcomed on arrival and provided with a generous continental style breakfast in the room.

There was nothing not to like here.

Lovely kind hosts! Our room was beautiful and spotlessly clean. We were a little late to arrive than we arranged but it was no problem. Heater had been put on in our room and it was cosy and welcoming. The items for breakfast in the morning were very fresh and plentiful, with a little fridge to keep milk nicely chilled. There were 3 cereals, yogurts, fresh fruit and numerous wee snacks and cookies plus tea, coffee hot chocolate and water provided in the fridge too! The bathroom was lovely with nice hand wash and shower gel provided. The bed was very comfy and the bed linen very soft, we had a lovely peaceful night's sleep. This couple are lovely hosts who have really thought of everything to make your stay great and are genuinely nice people.We would return here in a heart beat! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Second time I've stayed here, and I've booked to stay again in a few weeks and plan to book here regularly for the majority of my work trips. It is just the best place.

There is nothing I didn't like. It's just an absolutely gorgeous place.

Friendly owner who made me feel welcome & comfortable

The wooden patio outside my front door was slippery due to the wet weather and at night time the lighting was poor outside making the combination of a slippery surface and poor lighting an accident waiting to happen It would be better if there was an anti-slip surface installed from the frobt door to the parking area plus better lighting to light up the patio. One other point is the facilities the tv in my room was tiny. ( really small ) i opted to leave it turned off. When staying away on business alone means watching a good tv is key as theres not much else to do. A bigger tv with access to the latest Applications such as netflix and prime is a must all good hotels these days provide a good modern entertainment system. Extra power sockets with USB ports are needed. There was a microwave provided plus a fridge and kettle. This could be improved with a air fryer as air fryers are the most convienient way to cook these days plus the lack of decent takeaways in the area makes this a must have This place has good potential just needs more attention to detail to provide customers with a more modern service

Following a courtesy call to inform of our arrival, the gate was opened, we were greeted and shown to the room, following a friendly chat everything in the room was explained, heating, TV, WIFI, breakfast items and the gate code to let ourselves out in the morning

Gary is a terrific host who goes the extra mile to help. The place is clean comfortable and homely. Definitely recommended.

Everything...nothing was too much to ask for, and I was greeted on arrival show to my room, and everything was explained to me.
