The Ashfield

I needed a stopover to meet family and this was in the right location. Katie and Tim were accommodating and hospitable. It was clear the room had been carefully prepared, it was very comfortable. would certainly stay again.

We just want to say a huge thank you for last weekend's stay. It was so lovely to meet Katie and Tim, who were consummate hosts-and the room was wonderful. The little touches with the room really did emphasise that they had thought of absolutely everything someone might need when away from home-and I have no doubt that they would try to accommodate anyone's requests- to provide a professional service and homely stay. We would just like to add the breakfast was really great, too, and will definitely be staying again.

Made very welcome in lovely 'home' setting with access to a very pretty garden and surroundings. Comfortable large room with sofa and small desk, ensuite. Extremely carefully presented and immaculate decor. Charming host family, very conscientious and kind.

Katie was a very welcoming and friendly host and the accommodation was clean and tidy with really good facilities and wifi

The room was really nice and Katie was very accommodating. Our breakfast in the morning was lush and just what we needed.

Katie was very accommodating and couldn't do enough for us. Facitated an early check-in and even offered to give us a lift into town, when she thought our cab haven't arrived.

The room was well kitted out, literally nothing was missing in terms of facilities.
