"Very welcoming host and property"

I slept like a log on the comfy bed and it is a quiet area

You had to straddle the toilet to wash your hands or face in the very small hand basin but the owners have made the best of the space they have

"A very small, but cleverly-designed space with an excellent host."

The room was very comfortable and the space had been utilised well. The hosts were very attentive and keen to provide everything we needed, fitting around us without bothering us.

The room is incredibly small and clearly suited for shorter stays (which I should have realised). Only other gripe is that the TV buttons didn't work properly so it was hard to use the TV. Bathroom sink was awkward to use.

"TUCKED AWAY HAVEN"

Katie and Tim are wonderful hosts and The Ashfield is a perfect, peaceful, tucked-away place to stay. Everything was spot-on with a delicious breakfast, great shower and so many lovely little touches. A great comfortable and cosy stopover. Thank you!
