Our hosts Angus & Claire couldn't have been more welcoming.......was like spending the evening with old friends! Beautiful room that was spotlessly clean and the bed was super comfy......highly recommended!

Absolutely fantastic experience. Incredible suggestions for food and exploring from Angus and Claire. Wonderful room, furnishings and information about area history. Can’t recommend it enough.

It was all fantastic

The gables is situated approximately 15 minutes from Berwick -on-Tweed. We received a very warm welcome including tea and cake. The Gables is spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated with period furniture. The bedroom is spacious and the bed is large and comfortable. Guests have the added use of a comfortable lounge with beautiful views. Breakfast is made to order at a time you require it. Angus has a wealth of historical and local knowledge of the area. Angus and Claire are proud to invite you into their home and rightly so. Luxury?? Most definitely!!

Such a beautiful property in gorgeous surroundings. Attention to detail was spot on. We received a warm welcome with a cup of coffee and some chocolate cake. We were provided fresh milk and a bottle of cold water for the room. Everything was immaculate and we will definitely stay again!
