Breeze pod was extremely well appointed and had everything for a pleasant and comfortable stay. Breakfast in the guest house was great with plenty of choice. The views over the seafront the pod were stunning.

The food was amazing

Food was excellent. Host couldn’t have tried any harder to make us feel welcome and catered for. She had great local knowledge.

The location was probably a bit isolated. Didn’t matter to us as we had a car and were touring the island. May disappoint other travellers.

Outstandingly well-run guesthouse. Nothing is left to chance. Charming, friendly, informative host. First class food.

Food was excellent. Eggs, pancakes, avocado and more as choices. We had the seafood platter one evening- really delicious and the scallops were the best we’ve ever had.

It was a bit too warm for me. That may be a plus for some though.

Accomodation was pristine, location fantastic, we only dined once, but the food was amazing.

That we didn't stay longer

Very lovely seapods where you can drift to sleep to the sound of the waves against the shore and cliffside, and see wildlife like deer right at your doorstep (if you’re lucky). The seapod had everything we needed and was so cosy. There was a very strong sense of community where ingredients for dinner were sourced from the island itself, with some grown at their own croft, and others like scallops handpicked in partnership with the local divers - therefore all very fresh. The best part of our stay was, without a shadow of doubt, Sarah - the most friendly, helpful, funny host. She made us feel so welcome from the moment we stepped into the dining area, shared with us so much knowledge and tidbits about the island, and when I stupidly left some personal items back at the property, she was so responsive, assuring and meticulous to get them back safely to me. The experience staying with SEAcroft was sublime, and worth every penny and car mileage.

Everything was 'spot on'. Although driving to the house could be a little tortuous, once there it was totally worth it! The rooms was great, the owners and staff were wonderful and the food was so enjoyable. Locally caught langoustines had to be my favourite!! Everything worked well for us and we would certainly stay again if we were ever in that part of the Western Isles.

The house was a long way from anywhere, and one needs to be aware that if you go anywhere, it is a long drive back. A beautiful drive, nevertheless, but long!
