"It was bliss"

The place was very nice but the host was unbelievable. Incredibly kind and friendly, cared about your experience and always willing to help. The breakfast options looked amazing - I went for the BLT both mornings I was there because it was divine - but I'm sure the other options would have been unbelievable also. The place felt very homely and nice too. I would certainly recommend.

"Wonderful host, delicious breakfast, lovely room."

Kirsty was so welcoming and provided us with not only a cot, but a baby bath and changing mat and made our son an excellent breakfast. The breakfast was delicious and the whole place was really welcoming, comfortable and stylish. Had a wonderful time.

"Cozy, peaceful and relaxing!"

The room was lovely and attention to detail in the decoration and furniture was immaculate! Big fan of any stay that provides towel robes (even though we didn’t get chance to use them). Bed was comfortable, breakfast was delicious (we had full English breakfasts and they had a vegetarian option which my wife loved). The host was very welcoming and looked after us.

The strict three hour check in window was a little difficult to manage, but we managed it. Minor issue though!

Breakfast was really nice. Great menu, lots of choice. Very friendly host. Very helpful.

No wardrobe in the room. Royal Oak room rather misleading. Comfortable room but not outstanding.

"Very comfortable stay"

Very spacious, clean and comfortable room. The bath robe and good quality toiletries were appreciated. Delicious breakfast, prepared to order. Very welcoming hosts.

I was aware when I booked that my room faced on to the busy A12. Double glazing windows helped to cut down the traffic noise, and there was a good fan provided to make up for the lack of fresh air. I'm very sensitive to noise, but I actually managed to sleep quite well.

very unique glacé to stay! could see the beehives from my room! the staff was so friendly! the breakfast was amazing! including honey from their own hives! for a bed and breakfast the tea and coffee selection in your room was excellent!

Lovely, comfortable room and great en-suite. Many thoughtful details which added to the stay. Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit salad, homemade marmalade/jams, and excellent cooked options.
