"Nice, quiet room just off the historic centre of Derry"

The price was very good for Derry standards. The location was very central, a 3 minute walk from the Derry walls and a 5-minute walk from the Bogside, and was located just outside the peace wall which contained informative plaques about the city. The room was spacious and clean and the property was generally nicely kept and quiet. There was a large kitchen and living room for us to use and relax in.

The bathroom was not that clean and for the first night the toilet seat was broken (although it was repaired the next morning). The route from the station to the guest house, not via the city centre, did not feel that safe and locals at the nearby pub looked quite intimidating to us. The owners were not very flexible with check-in times, which was a new experience for us with a guest house.
