Loch Arklet House

The hosts were welcoming. The view from the room was beautiful. Breakfast was included.

The stairs to the attic room felt unsafe. There were extensions plugged into extensions within the room which made us worry about fire safety, particularly with such a narrow staircase to get down, so we turned them all off. The shower had hair in the plughole and bath, and the whole room really needs a deep clean. The extractor fan was covered in dust with cobwebs all over the roof and the carpet didn't look like it had been hoovered, which made me worry the room hadn't been properly cleaned in some time. The room was cluttered with unnecessary furniture in an already tight space. Shower was cold when I went for it but my husband's was hot not long after so this may have been due to too many people using it at once.

Very comfortable bed, quiet, slept very well, excellent breakfast,

Poor refreshment selection (just three tea bags and two coffee sachets, no fresh milk, no decaf options); no sink in room, I had to leave room to reach private bathroom, didn't get veranda with garden view as advertised; these items would be bearable if the price hadn't been so high (£145 for a single). Would have expected these facilities for £85-£90 based on my previous 54 B&Bs (I'm walking LEJOG).

A little way off the WHW bit with incredible views and not far from good food at the bunkhouse! We had a lovely 1 night stay, they catered for a vegan breakfast with no issues, and we slept well!

Little detour from WHW route, but fully compensated by nice place and very helpful owners.

住的顶楼，窗外的景色很美，夜晚很安静。房间很温暖，洗澡水很暖和。房东太太留了四瓶饮用水在房间里，还能烧开水。 早餐非常好，都是现做的，热乎乎的。咖啡也好喝。 房主太太和先生很和气 。 从码头走到住的地方可以选path或者大马路。选path的话有点泥泞，但有可能可以看到鹿。过了桥走一段马路会到那家能吃晚饭的那家bunch ，再走一段马路右转上个坡 ，后面还能看到圈养的高地牛，一路景色都很美。房子后面有个大坝 高峡出平湖，落日的时候很美～ 虽然房东说四点以后才能办入住，但我早到了就把背包放进门口的邮件箱里。给房东发了消息后，她帮我拿进屋子里了，🫰。
