"Weekend stay away."

We have absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Adelphi. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable and breakfast outstanding. The owners very polite and helpful. The adelphi is in a great location close to all entertainment yet nice and quite. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

"Short break"

I liked everything about The Adelphi. The location was ideal. Very close to the town centre with easy parking. Breakfast was delicious - plenty of choice and excellent quality. The hosts were friendly, unobtrusive and efficient. I would recommend The Adelphi to anyone.

"Great weekend stay"

The Adelphi is a classic beachside B&B and perfect for my needs staying overnight so I could attend a sailing event at Paignton Sailing Club. The room is fine and exactly as I needed. Breakfast was lovely and the owners were super helpful even helping me secure a free parking spot.

Not much to dislike really - at this price point its a great place to stay and very close to the beachfront.

If you want to be pampered by the hospitable Jayne, this is a very pleasant accommodation to stay in if you want to explore the region: bus and train and steam train with boat are a few minutes' walk away. Beach, shopping center and LIDL are just around the corner. Room 3 was fine, clean and with a good bed, and Jayne's fresh breakfast was excellent, with fresh fruit, cereals and vegetarian English breadfast. Do not hesitate to discuss questions or wishes with her by telephone in advance, because text in messages can result in misunderstanding.

Thanks to the hospitable Jayne, this is a very pleasant accommodation to stay if you want to explore the region: bus and train and steam train with boat are a few minutes' walk away. Beach, shopping center and LIDL are just around the corner. Room 10 was fine, clean and with a good bed, and Jayne's fresh breakfast excellent, with fresh fruit, cereals and vegetarian English breadfast. Do not hesitate to discuss questions or wishes with her by telephone in advance. A place to return when I'm in the area!
