Aamupala ja miljöö olivat aivan ihanat. Paikka oli siisti ja palvelu oli ystävällistä. Sijainti Kolin sydämessä sopi meille. Oli tervetullut olo.

Emäntä on todella mukava ja majatalo ympäristöineen ihanan rustiikkinen. Mahtavaa, että tällaista suomalaista perinnettä varjellaan. Aamupala oli monipuolinen ja itse tehdyt sämpylät todella hyviä. Majatalossa on palveluita, mm. joogaa ja rentoutumista pidempään majoittuville. Kesäisin pihalla kotieläimiä siistimässä pihapiiriä. Sijainti on todella hyvä, lähellä Kolin kylää ja retkeily- /vaellusreittejä ja perille on helppo löytää hyvin opasteiden ansiosta.

Varauksen yhteydessä pitäisi tuoda selvemmin esiin, mikä on todellinen hinta. Pahimmillaan tästä voi joutua maksamaan yöltä 102 euroa + aamupala 13 euroa + lakanat 30 euroa + pyyhkeet 10 euroa = 155 euroa. Tuolla hinnalla pääsee jo tasokkaaseen hotelliin, jossa on oma kylpyhuone ja yksityisyyttä, eikä ulkohuussia ja vatipesua pimeässä pihasaunassa. Huoneisiin kuului kaikki äänet läpi, mm. naapurihuoneessa haukotellut mies, ja yhteiskeittiö oli aika likainen.

Tunnelma ja sijainti ovat erityislaatuiset. Pihasta pääsee suoraan reiteille. Hyväkuntoinen pääsee Ukko-kolin huipulle, Kolin kylään tai satamaan jalkaisin. Palvelu on joka kerta ollut sydämellistä ja ihanan lämminhenkistä. Jokaisessa vuodenajassa on omat nautintonsa. Tarjoilut ja järjestetyt tapahtumat ylittävät odotukset.

En pitänyt siitä, että heti kotiin päästyäni tahtoisin mennä takaisin. Talo uhkuu historiaa, joten siinä on joitain haastavia kohtia esteettömyyden kannalta.
