"A soul haven in St. Emillion"

This is our second visit to La Gomerie, 3 years after the first. And it’s maintained its high standards of quality and service. Beautiful air conditioned rooms with large beds and a rainflow shower. Fabulous swimming pool and grounds and walking distance to St.Emillion. Breakfast is served in the garden and is to die for 😋

"A real gem in the countryside"

Fantastic hosts who really can’t do enough for you. We have walked into Saint Emilion (last night) through the vineyards (30 minutes in the sun - 40 minutes back. Same way but longer due to wine!) And today we hired electric bikes from Jean Francois/Jessica and cycled in and back. A relaxing afternoon under the wisteria (with a bottle) and cycling back in tonight for supper. Room is lovely ( Room 2 Pomeral) with view over the garden/pool. Note. Enough loungers around the pool for everyone! Good. V good! Beer and wine (and snacks) available at the house with an honesty system. Lovely French breakfast under the shade in the garden. Overall NO FAULT. It’s a true find. We will stay again next time we are in the area.

Mooie plek midden tussen de wijnhuizen. Heerlijk zwembad. Heel vriendelijk en gastvrij ontvangst. Goed ontbijt in de gezellige tuin. Vlakbij Sint Emillion, een prachtig dorpje.

"Fabulous stay in La Gomerie"

Friendly staff who were very attentive. The breakfast setting of the garden was beautiful. The breakfast itself was delicious and filling. The pool was nice to cool down in. The lounge area inside was done to a high standard and was a comfortable place to stay cool in and play board games. The room was well appointed and comfortable. Jean-François directions were good and the map provided was useful for finding the best spots in town and for navigating the country paths to the Sant-Emilion.

The bed was a little soft for our liking.
