bibou's room Paris

Breakfast was Continental and was specially prepared by the owner. We were served hot toasts/Bread and eggs. Great to start off the day with a full stomach.

I liked everything

Our hosts were very nice and gentle. Apartment is beautiful and our rooms and bathroom were also nice, clean and spacious. Paul was excellent and Google translate speaks french perfect. ;)

Paul and Benedicte were awesome as hosts. They were available to answer questions and had many super suggestions of places to go see. Paul speaks mainly French but Benedicte was pretty good at English as well. When they didnt know what to say or we were asking, the translator app worked great. The daily breakfast was delicious with a variety of breads, butter, jam, egg, a fruit plate and coffee or tea as well as orange juice. The bed and room were very comfortable and was attached to a small sitting room with closet and a TV. The hosts were very kind and welcoming. The metro into the main areas of Paris were very easy to get to by Metro a simple short walk away. There were many options to eat at in the evening in Les Lislas and we felt very safe walking around. We had a car with us but left it parked and took the metro or walked mosly during our stay. Paul was willing to help us find street parking when we needed it. We had an amazing time in Paris and one of the main reasons is the ease of transport to our accommodations. From Bibou's Room to major attractions such as Lourvre, Eiffel Tower takes about 30 minutes on the Metro, which is located about 3 minutes walk from the place. Paul and Benedict are great hosts and they try their best to accommodate to put arrangements for breakfast timings, check in and check outs. To be honest, I was a little sceptical of the place in the beginning as it's not the usual accommodation for first timers, but I was pleasantly surprised and really glad that I booked this place. The place is also very clean. Toilets are stainless, spotless and squeaky clean. The rooms have a beautiful view of quaint little area called Les Lilas. Paul also always takes the extra effort to give us some tips on places to visit and make sure we feel at home and comfortable in Paris and taught us some french words. Ooh ya, the bed is very comfortable, just like from home. Bonjour, Merci, Bonne journee, Au Voir, Bon Voyage.

I have been in many hotels and many places, but in this house I had a great time, they are very kind, very sweet people and they care about you for everything you need, it was very charming.

It was a very clean house and there was no bad smell, everything was perfect, it was wonderful.

Communication is hard if you do not speak any french. But again, very lovely -- we managed to talk about everything

Beautiful private rooms in a converted apartment. Well equipped. Superb design and well decorated. Lovely breakfast. Hosts couldn't be more helpful.
