My host could not have been anymore attentive and thoughtful. I Immediately felt very safe and comfortable, which was so valued because I am a young women travelling alone in a quite part of the country side.

I didn’t not like anything all was very pleasant. I was worried I couldn’t drink the tap water though, but when i asked it was quickly resolved and I was reassured it was safe.

Another wonderful, unfortunately only short stay, very nice room with a large terrace, a wonderful garden, but above all a particularly warm welcome and wonderful service. Thank you

Noisily fridge in room

For personal reasons we had to leave after 1 night. We were told because of booking.com we would have to pay for the whole 3 nights. We understand that the 2nd night payment but make us pay for the 3rd night when we weren't even there and had no breakfast for 2 mornings. Not good. Learnt our lesson. We will never book anywhere for more than 1 night to avoid being trapped.

Good sized room in a lovely bungalow. Terrace overlooking garden and woods beyond which would have been a nice relaxing area if the weather had allowed. Host was very friendly and gave us tasty cooked breakfast which was just right.

En-suite bathroom facilities were very good but would have been improved with the addition of a toilet roll holder. This is a nicely situated b&b for visiting Mid-Dorset, but visitors should be aware of just how long it takes to get anywhere in this part of the country! Rural serenity comes at a price.

Located in a beautiful and historic location. Hosts friendly and accommodating. Big breakfast. Comfortable bed.

Rattly in room fridge needs to be turned off to allow sleep. Room looks onto the car park so late arrivals disrupt sleep. Bathroom/toilet noise readily heard by breakfasting patrons.
