I received a very warm welcome from Chris after following the brilliantly thought out pictorial instructions from the town After a brief chat I was shown to my room which was large and airy with a good contemporary bathroom. I would describe the decor as quirky and it made me smile! The bed was super comfy. The location is simply spectacular, a beautiful garden with lofty views of mountains and the town. I didn't have time to explore the whole garden but it would be well worth a couple of hours exploring and I'm sure you'd find a quiet spot to sit quiet and enjoy! I enjoyed a tasty cooked breakfast with plenty of toast and a wide range of cereals and fruit. Chris and Louise offer their beautiful home and gardens with a obvious love of the job and the house. It was a pleasure to be allowed to share it with them and I shall return for more of their hospitality!

Beautiful 1830’s house in an imposing setting. Fantastic views over the valley and town. Chris and Louise vey welcoming and accommodating. Room with en suite had super king bed which was very comfortable.

Not a criticism, but roads very steep and narrow to gain access. Chris’s directions were excellent. Do not follow sat nav directions.

Beautiful property with lovely views over the town. Large comfortable room and immaculate bathroom. Friendly hosts Chris and Louise make you feel very welcome. Perfect distance for walking into town.

Lovely house just up the hill from the high street. Room was exactly as the photos showed and lovely and clean. Its a short walk into the town for food/drinks. The gardens up above the house are lovely and peaceful and offer fantastic views of the hills. I was travelling for work and the wifi was a good quality too if that is important to you.
