We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Whitehouse in Uplawmoor. Ailie and Nigel welcomed us into their beautiful family home. Great room and a super breakfast. Thank you so much!

"Whitehouse was the 'right-house' for us"

Peaceful location, yet conveniently positioned a short 20-minute drive from Glasgow. Extremely welcoming and personable hosts who go out of their way to make your stay as good as possible. Wonderful, freshly prepared breakfast served in the beautifully appointed dining room ( you don't get silver tableware at Premier Inn!). Felt privileged to share their home with our hosts.

The bedroom was a little cool on arrival, but soon warmed up. Additional blankets and heated under-blankets were provided

What a fabulous couple of nights. Would highly recommend staying at the Whitehouse. Allie is very warm and friendly, and her home is beautiful. Breakfast was cooked as we requested with quality produce. The views around the Whitehouse are beautiful. Thank you Allie for a lovely relaxing weekend.

"Highly Recommended"

Ailie was a superb host, the room and bed super comfortable, and a great breakfast. We wished we'd stayed longer, but were on our way up to the Scottish Highlands so only stopped for one night. There is much to discover in the surrounding area here, so we will definitely return! Thank you Ailie and Nigel!

The location of this property is idyllic. When we visited the weather was poor -nationwide- but the warmth, comfort and friendliness of Whitehouse made for a most enjoyable stay. A country location, but well connected to much of Scotland and to transport links.
