The View

The room was tiny, don't let the floor area described in the listing fool you as at least half that space is of the bathroom. Nowhere in the shower to put the shower gel, shampoo etc so had to put them on the floor, which I really don't understand as they could easily fix a shower basket on the wall. The bed and pillows were really uncomfortable. Would only book again out of necessity rather than choice. £75 per night is frankly a rip off as it didn't even include breakfast. The restaurant is quite expensive for what it is, the main selling point seems to be that it's owned by tewinbury farm and the golf course. Only 2 positives were: 1) the staff, were pleasant and helpful, and 2) views of the golf course.

Couldn't get kettle under bathroom sink so had to use the bath tap - which solved the problem. Never enough milk sachets where ever we stay.

Lovely location with bar above, perfect for attending events at Tewinbury Farm.

The shower was a little broken.

We had a wonderful stay at The View Hotel. The value for money is truly unbeatable, and the rooms were clean. We especially loved the location it’s beautifully situated out in the countryside, surrounded by greenery, making it very peaceful. The staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our visit.

The only minor point to mention is the noise level. At times, you can hear the bar or other guests in the building. However, we found this to be absolutely manageable and not "over the top" by any means. It didn't disrupt our overall experience.
