Smart

The girl at the bar, our first point of contact did not want to acknowledge us, no smile, no welcome, no eye contact. They had stopped serving food which was a great disappointment. The walk to the room was dark and hard to find because of the lack of light and difficult with our heavy cases as the levels were hard to negotiate. The car park was in darkness and the ground uneven, again a problem with luggage. Not made any better due to strange going on in the car park, we presume drug dealing. Some kind customers helped us up the front stairs and another young man helped us down the back stairs. The room was adequate but noisy with, we presume, the bar above us and the towel rail was dirty. .

Location for us was good.

The carpets in the rooms needed a good clean.

Good parking. Room had all you need for a comfortable stay.

Quite a walk from car to room. Room is tiny but sufficient. Beds okay. Carpets need a clean. Blinds need replacing. Be prepared for bar noise. Outside seating had disappeared :(

Shower was really good and room was clean

Get quite a bit of noise from the bar… can hear the chairs scraping along the floor

The rooms was very clean and had everything you would expect. Interaction with the staff I had was also very pleasant and polite.

Couldn't adjust the hot water temperature on the shower as the tap was seemingly quite stiff/restrictive, was no shower tray/shelf to hold my toiletries and felt the bathroom could have benefitted from a fixed toilet roll holder fixed to the wall. Felt also the in-room guidebook should have also includes details on how to connect to the wi-fi, local taxi numbers, what's around the area and perhaps also a bar/restaurant menu.

Location

Room had a very strange strong smell, suspected to be from plant room access door in bathroom. Not drains as these all had fresh water in them.
