Hillside Bed and Breakfast

The quiet little village was a perfect location for us with all major amenities a short drive away. The cottage is cosy, clean and the host Sue was most welcoming. Our room was bright and had tea/coffee, milk, mini fridge and bottled water and much appreciated. Sue made a sumptuous cooked breakfast for us and we felt very comfortable and relaxed during our stay at Hillside. Private parking was a real bonus and there are two pubs within a few hundred metres from the property that served a wide selection of reasonably priced meals, (we dined in both and recommend them) a great stay and thanks Sue Jan and Steve

Breakfast was very good & liked the little fridge in the room Host was very helpful in making sure we were very comfortable Nice to have the coffee machine even though we didn’t use it

The parking facilities & going up two flights of stairs Also not a particularly nice outlook Rather small shower room

Room was clean the bed was comfy The breakfast was great and the host was great.

The room was a little small and the bath room facilities are in need of updating.

Very friendly host. Facilities were all clean and functional. Lovely base for exploring the area. The Lamb pub at the top of the hill very friendly and welcoming.

The owner was a very nice lady and the breakfast was delicious plus the room was very clean and well maintained

The mattress and the pillow didn't really offer any support as they were extremely soft

Sue was a welcoming, friendly host. Her ‘Hillside’B and B is well located. Comfortable beds and a delicious breakfast. Friendly pub opposite, with excellent food .

Be aware that, being an old cottage, the stairs are rather steep.
