Bed was comfortable and a decent size. Quiet.

No-one in authority to speak to about problems. I was soaking after a heavy rainfall and the towel dryer wasn't working. I was told on arrival by the owner that breakfast finished at 9.15, but was told by staff that, because some guests required breakfast at 7.00a.m. the following morning, I would have to have an early breakfast too. Couldn't get wi-fi and no-one to ask. Do not disturb notice was ripped and wouldn't hang on door, asked for cellotape, too difficult! No information was given regarding the fact that it was possible to pay for parking the following morning the night before. Splash panel was glued to bath making it difficult to have a bath.

Town centre location. Easy public parking nearby. Not expensive. Friendliness of the lovely ladies who ran it. Their superb rhubarb jam.

My room was rather small. The bathroom also. I had to squeeze and reverse into the toilet space. The washbasin was a very small hand-wash basin.

Check-in nice and easy, lovely property, easy to find, friendly staff, quiet, all the facilities that I would expect, excellent breakfast and choices.

The room needs a little maintenance... nothing major but just little things hanging off or broken - and so little that I wonder why they've been left that way. Window didn't open, or at least I couldn't open it (maybe there's a good reason for that), however a fan was provided but was noisy (but I've got in the habit of taking my own).

There was nothing i didn't like !

The staff was very welcoming and helpful; the cooked breakfast was excellent, and the location was very handy: we were a minute away from the market. Also, the pressure of the shower was good, and the bed was comfortable. We would stay there again!
