Prospect Cottage

Het is een prachtige goed uitgeruste cottage. De eigenaren Jonathan en Sue zijn heel vriendelijk en gastvrij! Het ontbijt was heerlijk. Locatie is prima om omgeving te verkennen en om Bath te bezoeken. Echt een plek om terug te komen.

Experiencia fantástica. El cottage extraordinario. Hemos dormido como en ningún otro alojamiento. El desayuno fantástico y los anfitriones un encanto. Aparcamiento en la puerta. Zona muy tranquila pero con restaurantes a pocos minutos en coche.

Prospect Cottage is in a lovely quiet location. It is a picturesque building and easy to find, behind a local golf course. We did not realize before hand, but the cottage has two double bedrooms. It is perfect except that the landing is a bit hazardous as you have to step down and then up to reach the bathroom from one of the bedrooms and the staircase is rather steep. That said, from one of the bedrooms, that is NOT the case - you can have a flat route to the bathroom. The owners are both very helpful and charming and they cooked us a great breakfast. They could not have been kinder.

We were getting ready for a wedding. Our bedroom did not have a usable mirror. It would have been helpful to have one in our room but there were mirrors elsewhere. There is nothing the hosts can do about the steps. The area around Bath is expensive generally for accommodation, so Prospect Cottage is not particularly expensive based on its location. The shower was good both temperature and pressure wise but the bathroom is on the small side. There's only room for one person at a time in it so if you are getting ready for a big event, you need to budget that in.

Generous space to relax in the evening and an excellent breakfast.

Stayed here for a wedding at Euridge Manor which is 15 mins away. Lovely, clean cottage in a perfect spot. Lovely owners that greeted us on arrival and were consistently checking in to see how we were which was lovely! Fantastic value for money with breakfast every morning we stayed for. We will definitely be back!

My first time traveling to England and I was alone and anxious. Jonathan and Sue went above and beyond to help me with EVERYTHING and make me feel at home. It was like visiting family.
