Rose Cottage

Very warm welcome on arrival by the owners Liz and Steve and Susie the dog. The property is a beautiful cottage with lots of character, very tastefully furnished and decorated and spotlessly clean throughout. We stayed in the Green room which was spacious, clean, nicely furnished and very comfortable. The bed was large and comfy with good quality bed linen and pillows. The bathroom was large with a powerful shower and large fluffy towels. The room was at the back of the house and was very quiet. Breakfast was exceptional, all freshly cooked and nicely presented, using good quality food. Liz was very attentive making sure that we had everything we needed. There is a local pub serving good food in the village, which we ate at in the evening, it was also very good. Rose cottage is just a short drive from Lincoln and a perfect place to stay.

Excellent in all way. Charming but practical. Ideal location for us either parking outside. Great breakfast to set us up.

Large room with sofa, swivel tv that could be viewed from the bed and the sofa. Very comfortable king sized bed. Excellent shower with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel supplied. Impressed that the room was tidied each day, the bed was made and the bins emptied, the lights were switched on each day to prepare for our return. Tea and coffee supplied and replenished. Very good, and filling, breakfast. Very comfortable guest lounge (though we didn't use it). Friendly, chatty, knowledgeable and helpful owners.

On a busy road which sometimes made getting into and out of the parking area a little frustrating. Not a big issue and there was no traffic noise inside the cottage.

Liz and Steve are such welcoming and thoughtful hosts. Everything was truly exceptional. We only wished we were there more than just one night.
