Cuillich Mill Bed and Breakfast in the Highlands

Breakfast was amazing, lots of choice and the cooked option was delicious! The room was spotless, cosy and comfortable with everything we could need. A great location too, lots of walks nearby as well as attractions. Not far from the North Coast 500 so easy to explore further north or west as well as back south to Inverness or Nairn. And not forgetting how kind, accommodating and friendly the hosts (and cute dogs) were. Super knowledgeable about anything and everything and were more than happy to give their advice or suggestions of things to do. We loved our stay!

Cleanliness, comfortable, friendly, and great breakfast. Really good walk for the dogs from the door to the river.

The evening meal was delicious but very over priced. £22.50pp for chickpea curry and apple crumble (no drinks included). We liked the mystery of what meal we would be served but on hindsight, we should have asked in advance as we would have preferred to eat out and got more value for money. Other minor point, the wording on the website suggests dogs are welcome but we were confronted on arrival that we’d not notified we had dogs in advance (a slight communication error through booking.com perhaps as we had included it in the reservation notes). Recommend including in the booking instructions that dogs are free but need to be booked in. Also some confusion on the website if petS are welcome or just one pet? From the pictures, our impression was this was a self contained living space, be aware that you are sharing the hosts house.

Clean, had everything that we needed

We had a wonderful stay at this bed & breakfast! The breakfast was simply excellent, very good quality and lovingly prepared. Our room was tastefully decorated, very cosy and had everything we needed. We were particularly impressed by our hosts David and Leila, who were not only incredibly friendly and helpful, but also gave us great travel tips for the surrounding area. We felt very comfortable and can only recommend this B&B!

Very nice forest/highland walks around. It was really near to places we wanted to go to, very beautifully designed and really comfortable. The host were really friendly and gave a lot of recommendations.

Very accommodating, excellent breakfast, and lots of advice for our trip. We would recommend.

our stay was too short

We loved everything about our stay at Cuillich Mill. Leila and David were great hosts. Our room was very clean and the beds were so comfortable! Breakfast was very good. We would definitely stay there again.

David and Leyla were very welcoming, we were able to have an evening meal at the house which was ideal for us and was delicious. The rooms were lovely and we had a brilliant area to sit in for meals and relaxation. Our hosts were also very helpful either advice on local things to do.
