Breakish Escape B&B-near Broadford

Super freundliche Betreuung durch Elena und Kenny. Das Zimmer war großzügig und sehr gut ausgestattet mit atemberaubendem Blick auf Meer und Berge. Unser Frühstück war sehr gut und reichlich. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt in Breakish Escape B&B.

Die ca. 600m single track road von der A87 bis zum B&B ist in sehr schlechtem Zustand und nachts nicht gut beleuchtet.

I was welcomed on arrival by Elena, who kindly helped me with my bags up to my room. The property has soft carpets throughout, and therefore guests are reasonably requested to leave outside footwear in the porch and swap to the spa slippers provided. I was staying in The Kenneth, and it was beautiful. It is a large, well lit room with a separate en suite bathroom. All the furnishings / doors are modern, and there are separate radiators/ windows in the bedroom and bathroom, making it easy to control the temperature. I had been pleased to note an extra blanket in the wardrobe as I arrived on a stormy night, but in fact it wasn't needed as I was perfectly happy and cosy without it. I also noticed a good sized fan was provided. The bedroom windows also open, but a polite notice requests guests not to leave open if it is raining or they are going out - again, very reasonable and only common sense. There are plenty of electrical points, and a nice welcome tray with drinks and sweets was provided. There is a small tv, a kettle and hairdryer, all of which were useful to me. There were also plenty of towels, and everything was spotless. Breakfast is served downstairs and consists of a continental buffet plus some hot options, which were booked to perfection. Elena and Kenny are friendly and available without getting in your space - they leave you to get on and enjoy your stay, but are easy to find if you need them. They pay attention to detail with their guests' preferences, eg I requested an extra glass the first morning, and on the second morning it was already set out for me. Of all my accommodation on my trip, this was my favourite place to stay and I would not hesitate to recommend it.

The parking area is to the side of the house and is a little tricky without rear view parking, but is fine for small to medium cars. It would be very tricky to park there in anything bigger. The lights above the beds are good, but can only be switched on and off by getting out of bed, which was a very minor irritation, but didn't affect my overall experience.

El Breakish Escape B&B es ideal para visitar la Isla de Skye, por su situación inmejorable. Las vistas del mar desde la habitación son un 10. La limpieza, los detalles, la casa y los anfitriones son encantadores. El desayuno era variado, incluso pudiendo elegir para que te prepararan al momento porridge, huevos, bacon... Estuvimos muy bien en nuestra estancia y sin duda lo volvería a elegir.

Loved it!!! The room was so spacious, clean, comfy and warm! The owners were super friendly, breakfast was great.. The location of the house is in a quiet place without people or traffic, right by the sea. We also recommend walking a bit further by the coast, saw seals chilling on the coast :)

A bit further from most of the Skye tourist places, but as I said we appreciated the quiet atmosphere. Also make sure to drive slowly and carefully as the road has quite a few potholes:)
