Sma Harbour Hoose

Great location in friendly small fishing village with view to harbour. Very cosy cottage, heated very well. Very clean. Comfortable seating and bed. Coastal path walks from the door with lovely views. Can also travel to other villages and towns. Harbour is a working one, and a few boats about.

Kitchen very small. Fine for breakfast and sandwich lunch. Would be difficult to make a meal. This is a bit of a downside as only two eating out places locally, both of which serve fish and chip style meals. Both the restaurant and the pub were really good though. There is a Chinese takeaway but it was closed 2 of the 3 nights we were there. But we were early in season so can't complain. So, ok for a short break.

Accommodation was great, it had everything we needed for our stay. Information from the host prior to the stay and left in the accommodation was helpful. There were options for eating, all within walking distance of the cottage.

This is just a personal preference, we found the bed too soft. However this is something difficult for the host to judge, and we realise that you are unable to suit everybody.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sma Harbour Hoose. We had good communication from the owners regarding directions and key collection. The location is stunning right by the harbour which is beautiful especially with all the Christmas lights currently. The cottage was warm, clean and very cosy. Very well equipped and comfortable. I really loved all the artwork on display. We would recommend a drink at the Harbour Inn and food from the Quayside restaurant, it was excellent. We wish we could have stayed longer, hopefully next time. We would highly recommend a stay here.
