Slate Hall

Slate Hall was a lovely stay and if we are ever in the area, we would return. It wasn't our initial first choice as we had considered finding somewhere in Bamburgh previously but we are glad to have settled on Seahouses. The property was about a 15 minute walk to the village or 20 to the pier where we had booked a lovely boat tour to see puffins and grey seals. The room was a good size and and the bathroom had a nice walk in shower. The breakfast was nice and I particularly enjoyed my poached eggs thank you :) The hosts were very friendly and met us on arrival and also bade us farewell. I even got a birthday card which was very thoughtful of them.

No complaints really, my husband thought the bed was a little on the hard side but I liked it so..... :D

The room was beautiful and well arranged. I loved that breakfast was served to the room as standard and there was a fridge outside the room for our personal use. The bed was so comfortable, the location was excellent and off-road parking was a bonus. I especially loved that Mark and Monique catered to my dairy free dietary needs and anything we needed we only had to ask. Wonderful couple and beautiful property.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about the property.

We stayed in the snuggery which was self-contained accommodation with all amenities. Tastefully decorated at back of main house so very quiet.

Lovely room, clean & comfortable. Fantastic hosts who went above & beyond to make our stay brilliant. It was my birthday whilst there & they got me a card which made my day.

Lovely room, super friendly and helpful hosts. The location was ideal for me, quiet and safe. An easy walk into Seahouses. Great to have parking available. Bed was very comfy and the bathroom was ideal. Really lovely stay and would happily stay again 😁

Because I chose to eat some meals in the studio it would have been handy to have a few extra things in the kitchenette like a chopping board and sharp knife for example. Maybe a toaster would be nice!

Everything ! Mark & Monique were fab hosts. Room and facilities were prefect.
