Lovely rooms, comfy bed and welcoming staff. The breakfasts are amazing. Great choice and beautifully cooked.

Fantastic place kept to a really high standard

We booked this as we were just “passing through” but it was so lovely we might well come back to stay longer. The room was lovely and spacious with a large comfy bed with good bedding. Bath and shower were great with lovely soaps etc. exceptional breakfast with high quality food and large selection. Very good restaurant - not just the usual “pub grub”. Much better. Best of all though were the staff. They were all just lovely. Very relaxed, perfect level of service and interest in us - not cloying or obsequious, or going through the motions - they appeared genuinely interested in their guests and were just kind and lovely. They made the stay just lovely - the atmosphere at The Fox was just great.

Literally the loveliest staff of anywhere I've ever been. Made sure we were well taken care of in every way. Even on a busy Easter weekend. And a massive delicious breakfast to boot! Incredible gem of a place.

The towel racks were a bit too warm.

The property was beautiful. The staff were exceptional and the food was wonderful .
