Glebe House

Alan and Phyl were very welcoming and accommodating. Lovely guest house with a fantastic breakfast served in the morning.

Really welcoming, great location for my visit. Al and Phyl have a wonderful place and made me feel very welcome and fully informed.

The single room may not get as much use as the others and was slightly musty although the weather temperature was also high during my stay which may not have helped. It didn’t hugely impact my stay.

The hosts have planned this well and the accommodation was well-equipped, including a small cool box and fan. It was roomy enough, light and airy with a comfortable bed and good quality linen. Near to Walmer beach and Castle and walkable to Deal.

We stayed one night with Phil and Al. On our arrival we were warmly welcomed by two hosts who realize their passion as hosts as a lifelong dream. And you can see and feel this in their warmth, in the love with which they have furnished the rooms and in the many little things that simply made us enjoy everything. The breakfast was extremely tasty and sumptuous, and enjoying it in our own room with service is a new but no less wonderful experience for us. We can highly recommend the Glebe House.

Al and Phyl made us feel very welcome and were very friendly. Very good choice of breakfast served in our room. Would definitely book this property again if required in the area.

Das Frühstück - serviert auf dem Zimmer - war gut und reichhaltig. Der Besitzer war sehr freundlich und auskunftsfreudig. Das Zimmer war groß, hell und klassisch modern eingerichtet. Das angrenzende Bad war sehr sauber und ansprechend.

Einwegverpackungen beim Frühstück sind bei dem Preis etwas unpassend und nicht nachhaltig. Der Zimmerservice war etwas nachlässig an diesem Tag und wir hatten nicht ausreichend "Hygieneartikel". Die Matratze im großen Bett erreicht so langsam das Ende seiner Lifetime.
