The room was very clean and tidy and the operation is run very smoothly and efficiently with warmth by the owner. She could not have been more helpful. The location is excellent, away from the centre of Eastbourne in a very nice 'village' part of the town with a couple of good pubs to choose from a short walk away.

One of us is over 6ft tall and the shower in our room was a bit of a struggle with a horizontal bar running across the shower

Very clean and nice decorated place with excellent breakfast.

Breakfast varied and delicious. Quiet room at the top of the lovely large 1900s house. Decent sized twin with small en-suite. Kind hosts helped with luggage up the 2 flights of stairs. On-street parking was convenient, and only needed a permit (£3 from host) for a portion of the stay. Great location for us visiting the west side of the town and close-by bus stop to get further east for a trip to the pier and seaside.

Friendly, good breakfast, clean room.

Specifically booked room with shower but was ‘bumped’ into another room with only a bath due to a bathroom leak - would have liked some notice in advance so we could have made other arrangements. We had no choice but to accept the alternative. I believe room we should have had also had mini fridge which we didn’t have. So overall we didn’t get the room we had paid for. Host was friendly and apologised but could have been handled a bit more fairly.
