Cairnview Bed and Breakfast

Excellent position for a very comfortable stay! Super breakfast!

Ein wunderschönes großes Familienzimmer. Das Bad war sauber und hatte eine große Dusche. Es gab ein tolles Frühstück und die Besitzer waren sehr freundlich.

De kamer was niet schoon. Er lagen nog haren van de vorige gast in de kamer en badkamer. De algemene indruk van de b&b was niet schoon.

The view from the guest lounge was simply stunning, you could sit there with a cuppa and see all along the coast road.. the lounge also had a microwave for guests to use which was a superb option... The B&B was situated on a quiet peaceful estate within easy reach of the town and nearby resorts.. The bed was very comfortable... Our host had left clear instructions in a purpose made booklet...

On checking in we explained to the owner we wouldn't be there for breakfast as our ferry crossing was 8am and we would have to check in at least 45 minutes earlier and consequently too early for the breakfast sitting...as we'd read previous reviews from guests who said they were offered a continental breakfast box to take out we assumed that would be the case too...we weren't given that option...(Maybe a reduction for example of £10/15 off the rate for having a room only basis instead of full B&B rate of £90 would have been a nice gesture ...that said we would still book again but book a later ferry to get the advantage of the inclusive breakfast next time...
