Eriskay Guest House and Aviemore Glamping

Location was very handy being close to supermarkets/shops/bars, whilst being quiet

The pods are tiny; there is no internal seating area, just the bed. There are no internal kitchen facilities so you cannot cook inside. The shower room is the smallest space I've been in, and you can't turn around easily inside- the shower is directly above the toilet which is strange and questionably unsanitary. While the host takes time to ensure you know everything, he is much too in your space and touchy feely. The bed is quite hard, and not very comfortable. Guests just want the keys, and maybe a short instruction sheet inside, otherwise just leave us alone. People get away to relax, not to feel like they have to chat every two minutes. Also the whole touching shoulder and holding hands with guests is not appropriate. Apologies genuinely if this is harsh but it's true and it's uncomfortable.

Adoramos nossa estadia no Eriskay, foi ótima! A casa é linda e muito confortável, em especial pelos hosts tão simpáticos e acolhedores. O Quarto estava super limpo, bem arrumado, confortável e silencioso, e a localização é ótima! Um excelente custo-benefício para aproveitar Aviemore, recomendo muito! Recomendo não perderam o café da manhã, estava maravilhoso!

We enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend staying here .If I am in the area again I am definitely going to stay here Ken and Gill were very helpful and kind people. I would definitely rate the breakfast it was beautiful and plenty to eat.

Excellent location and hospitality. The owners’s service mindset is a ten out of ten. Breakfast is very good.

Excellent séjour, l'accueil est très chaleureux, on y dort bien, on y mange bien ! Les pods sont très mignons, c'est assez intimiste et suffisamment spacieux. Le lieu et la maison ont du charme !

Le petit déjeuner était copieux et cuisiné avec soin, nous étions dans les pods un logement atypique et nous avons pu bénéficier d’une petite cabane pour jouer et faire nos apéros. Nos hôtes étaient accueillants et de bons conseils pour les balades et restaurants

les pods sont petits donc parfait pour 2 nuits ....

Ken was very welcoming. The room very warm and comfortable. The location is quiet, and perfect for exploring the Cairngorm National Park.

Loved this place!!! A little gem in the midst of town. Owners are so lovely; their care and attention to detail is evident everywhere. Very clean, cozy and comfortable. Morning breakfast was a wonderful bonus! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
